Last week I attended a 2 day Certified Scrum Master course run by Danube Technologies (now CollabNet i believe). It was quite different from most courses I have taken in the past in that it was very interactive and not particularly technical. The focus was on explaining the rationale behind Scrum and the explaining the roles, artefacts and practices which make up the Scrum framework and we spent a lot of time doing practical exercises or discussing things as a group.
Overall I was very happy that I spent the time (and money) on the course and was impressed with the instructor’s knowledge of the subject (Angela Druckman). Event though I have been using Scrum for 6 months (and agile principles for a lot longer than that) I took a lot from it.
Recommended.
